Audio limits frame rate

PostWed Aug 09, 2017 8:20 am

Hi,

I'm a complete noob to Fusion - just started giving it a go this week in place of AE. So far, it's been simpler to get my head around than I thought, except for one annoying issue:

I need to sync my animation with narration. I've tried adding audio with a saver node and also using the audio icon on the toolbar. In both cases I can get the audio in ok, but it does something odd to the frame rate. When the audio is playing, the animation runs at 30fps most of the time (it does drop occasionally, but that may just be the performance of my laptop). However, any part of the animation where there is no audio runs at 1fps.

I've seen a couple of other posts here about the same issue, but there was no solution. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Or is this a question of workflow and I just need to bring in a more complete audio file?

Thanks

Barry
