Can I keyframe just the y-position of an image?

PostThu Aug 10, 2017 2:25 am

Looking at the image loader in the 2D space as well as the transform node, it seems I cannot independently transform x and y position, only center (x and y together). Is that true?

I am making use of a fuse that examines the amplitude of a wav file to animate a single keyframe-able value but it obviously won't/cannot keyframe center with both an x and y value.

Whats the trick?

The Center is an Offset control, which can be animated with an XYPath that lets you set independent keyframes for X and Y.
