Fusion 9 hangs on start up Win 7 (Fusion 8.1 starts fine)

I've installed uninstalled 3 times now. I've tried running as administrator. But nothing I do can get Fusion 9 to start on my Win 7 operating system with 64 mb ram.
Fusion 8.1 starts fine most the time.... but even a few times that would hang.
Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem?

Hi Marc, I had similar problems with Windows 10. I had an old AMD CPU (1090T) and I tried everything , new fresh Windows install, upgraded to latest GPU-driver. But nothing worked.
So I replaced the old CPU with a newer one. Maybe that could be your case as well?

The two solutions I have seen that work for most people is to update your video drivers and to delete your preferences at C:/Users/"user"/AppData/Roaming/BlackmagidDesign/Fusion/Profiles/Default
There are still a few cases where neither of those actions allowed Fusion to start. I'm not sure what headway has been made in helping those users.
