Export 360 video to YouTube

PostWed Aug 16, 2017 2:10 pm

I would like to export some 360 videos from Fusion to YouTube. At the moment, when I upload my file, it just appears on YouTube as a LatLong video instead of a 360 where I can rotate the view and look around.

In Adobe Media Encoder, there is a checkbox for "Video is VR", which adds all the necessary metadata for the video to appear as a 360 on YouTube. Is there something similar in Fusion? If not, how can I manually add the metadata required by YouTube to display the video correctly.
System specs:
Resolve Studio version: 16.1.0.055
Fusion Studio version: 9.0.2
OS: CentOS 7
CPU: Intel i7-4790k 4GHz Quad-Core
RAM: 32GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1080 Ti 11GB

I've used the "Spatial Media Metadata Injector" from Google successfully on LatLog files. Not sure if there is something native in Fusion. But this has worked for me in the past.

This actually works.. Thank you very much Ryan.

Of course, it would be better if this can be done automatically in Fusion, so if someone knows a way, please let us know.
