Thank you fusioneers.

PostWed Aug 23, 2017 6:20 pm

Hello fellow fusioneers.

I am no longer at Blackmagic Design, it has been a blast for sure and i wanted to take the time to say a proper farewell.

After 25 years of working on Fusion, from freelancer to post house founder, to Director of Business development for eyeon and now Product specialist at Blackmagic Design, I have never enjoyed working with anyone more than the Dev team for Fusion.
I'm not calling names out for privacy purposes.
I have been blessed to see this product mature from Dos to Linux, and being there every step of the way is an experience few people can say they had.

I am at least leaving feeling good about getting fusion on the map again, not a bad way to cap 25 years of using and living fusion.

Best of luck to everyone.

Hi Rony,

It's been a wonderful time and we've been very fortunate to have you around for such a long time.
Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. Should any of these involve singing puppets, you know where to find me!

Thank you.
I will still be doing demo's and trade shows on occasion.
It's all good, but at $299, it's no longer the product you send specialist all over the country to demo.
I get that, but going away I am not!

See you on the forum

This is surprising news and I wonder if there will be any official comment from BMD?

On one hand, I am worried, but on the other hand, does this mean you are available for compositing work?!?

Haha,

Rony, I'll always remember the face of my co-workers, friends (and me) while watching of one of your recent demos on Youtube (it looked like :o ). Amazing.
I wish you the best fo the future, for your personal projects and life.

I hope this is not a major reason for your leaving, but anyway, enjoy your "proper farewell" ;)

Hey Rony,

I was at some of your demos in the LA area. You were exceedingly patient and informative and generous with your time.

While your departure makes me sad for BMD and the Fusion users, I hope it opens up new and great things for you!!
