I think this is a really good introduction to tracking, more of these!
Can someone explain the Seed Frames in detail? Sort of understood what he said, but hard to implement it in my shots.

I am sure others with more experience can give better guidelines, or correct me, but my understading is this:

For photogrammetry to work in a 3D tracker, it would need to understand the perspective by comparing the difference of the motion path from foreground and background objects. Therefore you should choose a start and end frame where the same objects/features are visible, but have moved at different speeds due to the perspective difference of the foreground compared to the background.

Marcus: Thanks for the answer. Will try to experiment more with that in mind. But I find it a bit hard to understand which objects/scenery/pixels it will compare. Again thanks.
