Hey guys,
I'm tyring to install the free version of Fusion 9 to try it out and see if I wan't to integrate it into my workflow in the future.
However I can't get the program to launch. I've tried a lot (read through the forum and searched for people with a similar problem).
Things I have tried:
Run compatibility mode.
Launched as admin.
Disabled firewall.
Checked if there were any OFX plugins installed (there weren't).
Manually deleted the preferences.
Ran the compatibility Troubleshooter.
Restarted the system (obviously hehe).
Uninstalled Fusion - Reinstalled fusion.
Tried redownloading Fusion and doing another install (to make sure the setup wasn't broken).
I ran it through WinDbg with file -> Open Executable. And opened the Fusion exe file. The result of that is in the attachments. I don't really know what to do with that result haha.
I updated the Nvidia drivers. Disabled shadowplay in the Experience center (That apparantly caused some problems for people). After that completely uninstalled the Geforce Experience.
Uninstalled all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. I had about 20 versions installed ranging from 2005 to 2017.
I then installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 again. This seems to be the most common version.
I hope I'm not forgetting anything I've tried.
But yeah I'm kind of lost on what to do now...
I hope anyone here can help me
