Instances of polygon cannot deinstance Invert and Solid

PostFri Oct 06, 2017 5:25 am

I'm using Fusion 9.0. Create an instance of a polygon tool using C_S+V. The options 'Invert' and 'Solid' do not have green outlines. You can right-click these options and select deinstance, but the option will still be linked to the original node. If you right-click again it'll say reinstance, but it's already connected.

The 'Invert' and 'Solid' options should be able to be individually deinstanced like the 'Width' and 'Height' options.

If you deinstance the tool completely then the 'Invert' and 'Solid' options become independent.

I don't think this is the intended behavior because the golden particles tutorial on youtube shows the 'Solid' option properly deinstancing in an older version of Fusion.
