DNxHR MXF issues

PostSun Oct 29, 2017 2:23 am

I am trying to use Fusion's Pro Res encoder on DNxHR renders from Resolve and I am having a couple of issues. I am using an MXF Op1a wrapper.

1. Level mismatch. When using DNxHR 444, I know I need to export with Data levels from Resolve in order for the file to appear with correct levels within Fusion. This works. However, with DNxHR HQX 10 bit, my black levels come in correctly, but whites are down 15%, that is, peak whites that were at 100 are now at 85. Data vs video is not the issue, it's something else, but what?

2. No audio. I cannot use the DNxHR HQX file as an audio source. I get this error in the console:

"Warning: No supported audio found in [filename]"

Thanks for any advice/assistance.
