Painting out a moving logo

PostMon Nov 13, 2017 11:17 am

Hello

We are trying to 'paint' out a moving logo that is attached to someones work uniform. The person walks out from a closed door into an open space. So there are two things that immediately jump out at us. The change in light and the movement.

Does anyone know of any work flows that could help us out with this?

We are wanting to use fusion!

Thanks, Tom

One approach would be to:

1) Get a good track on the logo you want to remove.
2) Clean plate probably several frames of just the logo area being replaced and mix/fade between the clean frames as the area around the logo changes (drastic shape or lighting changes that can't be adjusted by only animating a Color Correction).
3) Roto the door back over top the new, cleaned logo area.
