Pano_map cube format

I'm trying out the pano_map to transform a 6x1 cube map to a altlong format. The documentation defines the order of the cube patches as: "ordered as Left, Right, Up, Down, Back, Front (+X, -X, +Y, -Y, +Z, -Z)".

Though the pano_map node does not following this convention. See screenshots of a conversion from example maps I got from the SolidAngle Arnold website.

I also tried some example cube maps from V-Ray and they show the same issue.
