Fusion 9 gets laggy after a while

Is anyone else experiencing that fusion 9 gets super laggy (like panning around the flow or selecting something for example) after a while? This obviously can be fixed when I reset all the preferences by deleting the pref file from the profile folder. However I don't want to setup my preferences all over again all the time and therefore ask if anyone knows what's causing this issue? What is especially weird is that it only starts after a while without making any changes to the preferences...
