there may be a bug in the particle cache system:
I had some cached particles, but deleted the cache to make changes to the particle system settings.
once rendered, the cache is empty.
I cannot get it to cache anymore now.
sometimes what happens is the green line along the timeline to indicate the cache being rendered will travel across the timeline in an instant, and the cache folder will be empty.
other times, it will take it's sweet time carefully processing each frame, giving the impression is is working this time, only to leave an empty folder afterwards.
whatever it is, after deleting the original cache of particles it refuses to cache again now.
can anybody else replicate this condition?
