Fusion 9.0.2 crashes with Loaders/Savers - Linux CentOS7

Hello all,

I recently embarked on a Linux dual boot for my Dell Precision 7910. I performed a fresh install of CentOS7 and successfully installed Nvida drivers for the Titan X(maxwell), FFMpeg, Davinci 14.0.2 and Fusion 9.0.2.

When I fire up a comp and add a LOADER/SAVER, the file menu comes up with no UI elements present. Fusion then hangs and exits without an assert after a few seconds.

Is there a dependency required to get Fusion 9.0.2 to properly work in Linux CentOS 7? Is it simply not compatible with 7?

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

-Jeff

I get this error when I run Fusion from the terminal and drag in a Loader.

Hi Jeff

Do you have a Decklink card?

Have you installed the latest drivers for Linux?

I don't know if it is the case in Linux, but the FFMPEG version installed in Windows must be the "shared" and not "static" in order to work with Fusion.

I don't have a Decklink and to my knowledge I have the latest drivers, though it's very possible I'm missing something. I'm new to the Linux experience and I'm not sure what is already installed. But I can't find official BMD documentation for Linux installation dependencies.
