Lighting Effect

I'm cutting a concert where the production shot 2 performances of each song. Problem is: in the first recording they left the drummer's kicker lights off. As a result these 2 shots won't cut together without a glaring continuity change. (see attached photo- top image is with the light, bottom without)

Is there a way to effect in a light? The only way I know of-- would involve extensive roto work and tracking and even then, it's not going to look very convincing.

Wondering if any of you know of a different way.

Thanks

Very much do-able with some roto and color correctors. If you're looking for an auto roto feature the closest thing you can do is create a matte from the optical flow node. That relies on changes from frame to frame to calculate a matte. So unless its a locked off camera with just the band moving you're out of luck. But even then; it would be very far from perfect.

Put some headphones on and roto away. (or cut to a closeup :) )

Thanks, I figured as much. But I'm not adept at Fusion so I didn't know if there was a feature I hadn't considered. The reality is: We're not going to use that footage.
