How do I render DPX final back to Log colorspace?

PostWed Jan 24, 2018 9:57 pm

I worked with DPX files that were in LOG when I imported them. But, when I rendered out the final, they came out in linear colorspace.

How can I render out DPX back to LOG so that the colorspace isn't changed?

I'm new to Fusion, so this issue is new to me.

Thanks in advance.

You have to change the log/lin setting in the saver as well or if you want to have more control over it, use the Cineon Log tool before your saver.
This stuff is in the manual though, as far as I know.

Thanks, Sander.

EDIT: I installed free Fusion on my laptop so I could look at the interface while at work.

I can see on the FILE tab to choose DPX from the drop down. On the FORMAT tab, I can see that I can choose Cineon from the Log Type drop down menu. Is that all I need to set?
