New user needs help

Hi all,
I am new to BM Fusion. I come from being an intermediate AE user and had a CC subscription for a while but can't really justify it at this point. I do have my CS6 licenses but things are getting slow. I would love to move to Fusion but tutorials seem scattered on Youtube. I checked Lynda.com also. Can anyone recommend a course (or courses) to cover all the basics(-to-advanced) in a logical order? I will be doing some VFX but tend to do more Motion Graphics stuff. My go to in AE were Element 3D and Particular and I know Fusion has these types of features included so that is exciting. Also, I am all in for getting in and playing around but a structured course will expedite the process of using the software and make it less frustrating (and slow my hair loss)

Thanks for the help and advice!

Hey man!

Some advices what to look for:

- Youtube - Tony Gallardo - on some motion graphics
- Youtube - Con-fusion - Vito La Mana runs some of the most interesting in depth tutorials. He can be also cought on Patreon where for some payment you get some special tutorials and exclusive materials.
- Youtube - search for ToolTorials from Eyeonesoftware - you'll get a lot of knowledge from there. They're talking about versions 6 and lower but some rules and tools don't change.
- Youtube - Alkesh Nanavaty - you might find some nice stuff there
- Youtube - Statix VFX - does some nice particles tutorials

These are some places I found during my "intensive learning period". :)
Also look at steakunderwater.com

cheers

I'm writing an introduction to vfx textbook using Fusion. The first draft is on my blog here: http://www.bryanray.name/wordpress/comp ... -contents/

I don't go much into motion graphics, but chapters 1-3, 6-8, and 10 will probably be of particular interest to you.

My apology - I didn't mention you!

I got so focused on Youtube content that I forgot the reading stuff ;)
