Dual/second Monitor in Fusion User Manual

PostTue Feb 27, 2018 3:57 pm

Hello forum

On the first page of the "User Manual Fusion 9" a dual monitor config is shown. Is this just a "normal" additional monitor attached to the regular video card or is this a special broadcast monitor attached to
a dediated video board like e.g. AJA Kona?

2.
To what extent does that second monitor differ from a "normal" calibrated monitor?

Thank you very much for any fedback!

Bill!

PS
Sorry for the noob question but I am totally new to VFX...

I can be either a second monitor displaying extended desktop, or a broadcast monitor through a video converter.

With an extended desktop you can open up an additional viewer and drag it on the second screen and resize as you like. There are also presets for two monitors in the dropdown menus.

A monitor through a video converter will be displayed full screen. It operates like an additional viewer window.
