Issues Downgrading to Fusion 8?

Hello,

I've been using Fusion 9 for some time now, and the frequent crashes that many people have been describing in Fusion 9 are hitting me hard, and I am not able to get much done.

I've been trying to downgrade back to 8 until 9 gets more stable, however I cannot. Whenever I uninstall 9, and install 8.2.1 (or any version of 8), it will install just fine, however it crashes instantly on the initializing screen, and I cannot figure out why. I've tried multiple versions, as well as deleting Fusion using both the BMD uninstaller and through AppCleaner, with no success. Does anybody know why this could be happening?

MacBook Pro 2015 15" Retina w/ i7, 16GB RAM, AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2GB
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.3 17D102

Did you also try to delete all the preferences files?

It's also helpful for some of the problems with fu 9

I've seen that around a couple times, where can I find that?

I don't recall off the top of my head where the application data is located on the Mac, but there will be a folder "Blackmagic Design/Fusion/Profiles/". Delete any .prefs files found in any folder at that location.

I've now deleted them and tried installations with everything clean, and still have the same issues. Any other ideas?
