Disable Dialog on Command Line Render

PostFri Mar 16, 2018 3:10 am

I am trying to do a command line render and for the most part it works great. It opens the comp, renders it, and quits. The only problem I can't seem to figure out is how to disable or automatically close the "Render Completed!" dialog that comes up after it finishes rendering and stays up even after the rest of the app seems to quit. Anyone know if this can be turned off in the preferences or if there is a command line flag to use? Thanks in advance.

I am pretty confident that if you "lock" the composition while doing your commands it will suppress any messages.

Thank you for the reply. I tried locking the nodes within the comp, saving, quitting, then trying to render via command line and it still gave me the Render Completed popup. Not sure if there is another way to lock the composition but I didnt find anything searching so far without scripting it.
