Advanced Fusion shaders

Recently I caught a glimpse of a title picture of a tutorial on building organic bloody shader in Substance. It inspired me to build something similar in Fusion. It was not easy, because in Fusion it's very meager with procedural noises.

You might have seen the clip on my vimeo channel. Here is an updated comp with rebuilt, completely procedural shader. It uses two textures that were generated using sapphire plugin - I took it out of the comp so that you don't have to use any plugins.

This comp will work with Fusion Studio commercial and Fusion free versions.

Glass Shader cube

Continuing my experiments with glass shader and simple procedural forms, I remembered about a great macross by Dunn Lewis - Camera Rig. He posted it on https://www.steakunderwater.com/wesuckl ... 6039#p6039

This macross must be installed in order for both comps to work. You need to download "Wave.Fuse" and copy to "...Fusion 9\Fuses\"

This time I made two versions of the comp:
1. Cube_v009 - for those, who have following plugins: Krokodove, Lit Sphere, Frishluft DoF.
2. Cube_v009_wo_plugins - for those who don't have them or use Fusion Free.

Of cource, there are some small differences between the versions. Further on I'll employ this mode of posting two versions of the same comp: with and without plugins.

Today we will making a title clip with stylised beveled text. In it I'm going to go through converting 2D shapes into 3D, displaces, editable smooth bevels, shading and lighting and also make beautiful streaks.
With no plugins needed. All make inside BMD Fusion. Project working in Fusion Free.

Have a Comp file and video tutorial.

Velvet
This project is part of my training video for BMD Fusion.

Whilst continuing my studies of elegant shapes and procedural workflow, I again turned to my all-time favourite plugin Krokodove (shoutout to Raf). PolyPlay3D and Connect 3D work wonders.
Today on the menu are floor reflections without raytracing. With the help of Projection and camera reversal technique. Also, animated highlights using rotating lights, HDR for shader. And all this completely inside Fusion - everything, from background geometry to text.

Post comp file for Project "Displacement. Drone."

Friends, I posted comp file for Project "Displacement. Drone."
Welcome to my Patreon channel!

Sound design and Music by Michalis Anthis. http://www.michalis-anthis.com

This project is quite technically and computationally intensive (though we can change the geometry load with one switch to make things a bit easier for (g)cpu, which allows us to tailor the scene given different computational powers).

We'll take displacement node to its limits, make use of pregenerated 8k map for landscape and lighting elements. There will be a lot of render passes, procedural animation, volumetric lighting, small tips, tricks and how-to's here and there.

I'm planning on recording a multipart tutorial going over every nook and cranny (and even things big and near), starting with a plane and finishing with a full-blown shot. Welcome to the world of Fusion!
Feel free to download and dive into the project! https://www.patreon.com/mseredkin

Project Displacement. Distress.

Continuing work on the Displacement project, I am glad to present the second part -
Project Displacement. Distress.

Was wondering what Fusion Displacement is capable of. Displacement map 8K. Everything else made in BMD Fusion. The project contains a lot of Fusion 3D, particles and particles physics, lightning, shading and many many procedural animation.

Project Prime

This video is part of a real commercial. This is the first shot of six. https://goo.gl/neNPPD
Therefore, the label and name are changed to a non-existent brand.
Also the shading of some elements is improved.

The project is made as a tutorial and demonstrates the possibilities in shading, lightning and VFX
inside the actual working conditions of the production studio.

The project used 2 models (attached) can with diffuse texture and an arrow created in 3DS Max.
Animation, shading, lightning, caustic and everything else was done exclusively inside FMD Fusion.

Download project files indclude models and texture on my Patreon. https://www.patreon.com/mseredkin

P.S. The project requires BMD Fusion Studio, plugin Lit Sphere and fuse XfChroma Fuse.

Project Prime ready for download.

Update
I was able to get rid of third-party plug-ins in the scene and use only native Fusion tools. What is very happy!
So now the scene is available for all platforms, including the Free and Studio versions of BMD Fusion.

Files for Project Prime. Сontains a project file with comments, models and textures.
Works with BMD Fusion Studio and Free Version, all platforms.

A small RND for particles and vectors. The script is simple. Mostly Custom force. I liked the choreography of the particles with this approach. The source is pImage Emiter with random text. Thanks to this approach, you can flexibly change the dynamics and pattern of bursts.

you can download the project for Fusion and watch the video tutorial on the WSL website https://www.steakunderwater.com/wesuckl ... 959#p34959

Inspection

Inspection

I looked at the project from two years ago. And I realized that I would like to change something taking into account today's view. To be honest, I wanted to look at myself from the outside and understand what I learned in 2 years. One week was available. And let's keep rollin'. In general, the New Year's holidays were not in vain. I started with the frame aspect, finished with new shaders, lenses, and effects :)
For lens effects, I used Sapphire Boris FX + a few my custom effects. It was fun. The result is a new version. I called it Inspection or Drone 2.0

As always, everything is done only in Fusion. As always with a love for Fusion. Thanks to everyone who makes new tools and develops existing ones. It helps a lot in the work. By the way, the number of polygons is very large, about 90 millons of polygons + 8K of textures. So not every computer can handle it.

Special thanks to Michalis Anthis for the sound design and music.https://www.michalis-anthis.com/
