confused...stand alone vs. integrated with Davinci

PostTue Apr 17, 2018 5:49 pm

So I just downloaded Davinci Resolve 15 because I wanted to add some flare to some pictures through fusion. I started to mess around with it, using the manual, and was having a difficult time. I come here to see the basic tutorials, but it is for the stand alone.

Can I apply what I learn from the stand alone tutorials to the fusion that's inside of Davinici or are they totally separate??

You can apply the standalone tutorials to the integrated Fusion/Resolve. But the UI is somewhat different and some of the overlapping functionality has been removed from Fusion like Loader and Saver nodes.

Also, since this is a work in progress, not everything from Fusion has been implemented yet.

I read Q3 somewhere on the Resolve board, but stuff can happen and it could be delayed because of that
