text effects and fusion effects not working.

can some one help !! everytime i add effects like text or i use fusion. the media screen goes black and does not show any video at all ??

Do you have a background node attached to it?

You're using the Resolve beta? Better to post your question in the beta forum. Or better yet, search the beta forum first because that bug's been reported at least a dozen times there.
