Fusion 8 lens distortion issues

Hi, I've imported a Fusion 9 comp into Fusion 8 without any issues except for a strange lens distortion issue.

I'm using the exact same node and Fusion 8 has an offset distortion with straight sides:

Here is the Fusion 9 version which is centered correctly and has curved sides:

I created a Fusion 8 lens distortion from scratch in case it was an issue from copying the node or opening a v9 comp and it was also incorrect.

Any ideas?

There probably was a bug in 8 that was fixed in 9.

May not be the case but I remember having strange probs with lens distortion and it was due to not having setup the frame format preferences correctly.

I messed around with the film gate options and found a few that were close enough to the original frame.
