Fusion 9 differs from Fusion in Resolve with meshes

PostThu Apr 26, 2018 1:20 pm

I know that DR15 is still in beta, and I know that Fusion in DR15 is structured differently than Fusion (Loader VS Media in) but the Fusion tab seems to allow you to import meshes, but they can't be modified in the same way.

For example, Fusion 9:

and DR15:

I played the video and moved the playhead to zero and it appears that the bump map appeared, but I can't replicate that:

I know that this is beta software, and maybe I'm just making the team aware of a bug, but I wanted to determine if there is something I am overlooking, or a parallel for DR15.

You should definitely post this in the beta section of the Resolve forum, because it's directly related to the way Resolve handles images (mediaIn) vs the way Fusion's loaders work.
If you put a timespeed after your texture with speed set to 0 it will 'freeze' the texture and it will probably work for all frames. Just guessing though.
