using histogram in CC to change BG seq

Hi all,

I'm trying to affect the luma and saturation of clip A using Clip b ..

I've used the match option in histogram ..its seem to be working but the result is quite grainy and is applying a posterised effect to final sequence ..any way to counteract this but keep the general effect ?

Did try the smoothing slider?
