PostTue May 29, 2018 9:24 pm

How can i render a single frame from fusion. I want to render a specific frame and the saver node doesn't seem this option or even any frame range options. how can this be done.

Thanks

You set the render range in the timeline fields that correspond with the in/out of the render range.
But in cases like this, it's the easiest to go to the frame you need, switch on HiQ, view the image, right-click in the view and select 'save image as...' (I think it's called that, no in front of Fusion right now)
This way you can manually save the current image.

I figured it out as soon as i posted as usual...

You can set the frame range in the window that appears after you click the render button. kind of weird but hay there's also a ton of awesomeness in the software.

thanks for the reply.

You can also set the render range in the main UI if you follow my suggestions: there are fields for start/end render range specifically for this purpose and - as you found out - you can also set a (different) render range in the render dialog.

You can also just right click in the view window and select the screen save option :P
