Does TimeStretcher or TimeSpeed work in DR15b4

PostWed Jun 06, 2018 3:02 pm

Hi All,
I appreciated if anyone has been able to get Fusion TimeStretcher or TimeSpeed to work in Resolve 15b4 on an iMac MacOS v10.13.5 ?

I just wish to slow down a clip with Fusion's OpticalFlow interpolation mode, but no joy - I don't even see a preview of the slowed clip on the MediaOut node in the Fusion tab. I tried disabling the GPU, but no change.

The current OpticalFlow in Resolve ReTime is showing poor artefacts due to different foreground/background scene movement, though PR did work better on the same clip.

Thank you in advance, Jeff

Fusion uses a separate node to generate the vectors necessary for the Optical Flow interpolation mode to do its thing. Add an OpticalFlow node before the TimeSpeed or TimeStretcher.

Bryan, Thank You - that worked better.

Now I just have to a find way to speed up the Optical Flow node analysis each time I fine tune the OFnode settings for a clean interpolation without artifacts.
