log file for crashes?

PostThu Jun 21, 2018 10:47 am

I'm doing a project in fu9 studio and having a lot of random crashes.

Fusion simple bangs out with no warning and theres no consistent user input to cause a crash.

Are there log files we can look at ?

If we ( the community ) are going to help you ( BMD ) make fusion more stable do we need a better system for reporting bugs ?

You can switch on an environment variable to generate crash logs on captured exceptions (from memory they are binary so no use) but this only works very rarely in my experience. Best course of action is to log this problem with support. Unfortunately there are a lot of problems with Fusion randomly crashing and they do not seem to pay any attention to this forum.

It is really important that everyone who has any problems/questions/requests log them through support, if they go unanswered it should raise a red flag (Support KPI's, managers start getting some heat) and then BM may finally do something about them.
