Tracker source gamma

PostFri Jul 06, 2018 9:15 pm

Does the tracker work better with linear liight or gamma corrected sources?

I have Log C material which I'm linearizing for compositing purposes using a 3D LUT. But I have tracked it upstream from the LUT. The track seems fine. I'm just wondering what the tracker is tuned for.

It usually works best on gamma corrected sources.
