Fusion 9 dongle stopped working

I own both DaVinci Resolve Studio and Fusion 9 Studio. I tried launching Fusion 9, but it did not see my license even though the dongle is in the computer USB slot.

Do you happen to have a Synology NAS? Some service associated with Synology has been shown to interfere with Fusion's dongle.

Nope. Nothing like that.

I'm using Fusion inside of Resolve 15 in the meantime.

It's been working for a while now. Updating to the latest version seemed to solve the problem. Why, I couldn't say.
