Particle beams flickering (and I can't find the reason)

At the end of the sequence there are some flicker in some of the particle beams upwards.

None of the light sources are keyframed for intensity or movement/location. I kind of pretended that it was intentional... :) But for learning sake I'd like to know how to do better in the future.

On another note... First post! I have broken the rules of almost every forum I've joined on on my first post, so here's a true heartfelt apology if I did the same here :)

It could be nodes that use OpenCL. OCL is notoriously problematic in Fusion 9. Merge nodes as well as Color Correct nodes have OCL turned on by default. Try disabling it in preferences.

The other thing that comes into mind are the particle systems. They tend to glitch from time to time. I could fix some glitches by toggling Time lock and/or reseeding (on the pEmitter node). Someone else suggested to toggle from Runge-Kutta to Euler in the pRender node.

Thanks! I'll have to try that next time I mess with particles!

Hi there,

did you find a solution. I was testing around 4 hours today (what a waste of time) and couldnt find any solution.
