Using Luma Keyer to Mask Trackers

I've got a lot of white tracking markers in a scene that intersect with different subjects. I have used polygons and luma keyers to isolate the trackers and mask the trackers by luminance.

This method works well for a subject edge's that is much darker than the tracker but now I am dealing with a subject's edge that is similar in luminance to the tracker.

I've managed to get the setting on the luma keyer to make distinctions between the tracker and the edge. But now the tracker is only partially masked. I am asking for some guidance as to how to finish this procedure to fully remove the tracker while maintaining the edge.
