Deph blur picker not working

Deph blur picker not working

I'm trying to use depth of field in my composition, and when I try to sample the focal point, wwhen I click on sample nothing happens is it normal ? I can't place the focal point only with the slider ???

You need to click and drag the picker into the viewer. Hold your mouse button pressed while dragging it to the viewer
