Applying a polygon mask at a specific frame

PostFri Dec 07, 2018 6:35 pm

Hello there,

I am using Fusion page in DaVinci Resolve 15. I am trying to apply a polygon mask to a clip starting from a specific frame but cannot find a way to do it. The mask gets always applied from the very first frame. I tried to move around keyframes in the keyframe editor but it doesn't seem to help. Can someone please point me at the right direction to achieve that? Thank you in advance.

you can animate the blend slider of the mask
you can animate the mask itself to only enter the frame at your start point

Hi Michael,

Thanks for your response and pointing out the possible solutions to the problem. The blend property on the merge node did the job for me.

Best,
D.
