Anyone recommend source of footage of car window reflection

I've shot an exterior of a van that's supposed to be driving on a road at night. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for stock footage of lights passing over a windshield.

Also, if anyone knows of stock footage for filming inside a car looking out to passing roads from all sides. I heard of one source a couple years ago, but I forgot the name of the company that produced it.

Thanks in advance.

So it doesn't matter where the actual location is that the driving takes place?

You could take a look at these VR based videos

https://www.pond5.com/stock-video-foota ... vr,driving

You could use those to 'project' a 360 degree view around your footage. I don't know how the resolution will hold up though.

As for the lights and the windshield. I don't know of any stock footage of that, but it wouldn't be too hard to rig up inside of Fusion. Is it a static shot that you want to 'liven up'?

If it's possible to share some footage, I can take a look at it. In case of NDA, feel free to PM.

Thanks for that link to the VR footage. I'm guessing I could wrap that onto a 3D Sphere?

Here's a still from the shot to give you an idea what I'm working with.

Thanks, Michael. That looks like an excellent source. Funny, they don't have prices listed with their footage, so I emailed them to determine costs.

That should be pretty doable. It is of course important how realistic you want things to be.
Because the lights that move over the windshield will also have an effect on the occupants and the interior of the ambulance(?) In a real situation the shadows would change when they move underneath a lamp post etc. But it's definitely really easy to fake. You could even just go for a drive at night and use your cellphone to capture some footage to lay on top of it. Everything you do will add to the realism.

Thanks, Sander.

You can't tell in this still, but the driver is looking at the rear view mirror while she's "driving". And you can see that the rear doors have no windows. I think I'll have to create some windows there, too. LOL

Well, truth be told, if I have to drive a different car than I'm used to (or if my trunk is full of IKEA boxes) I still involuntarily glance at my rear view mirror because 20+ years of muscle memory isn't erased that quickly. :-)

Good point. At the same time, there was another character sitting in the back area of the van. So, it could be surmised that she was checking on that person. And based on the story, it would make sense.

But we're getting sidetracked: did you find something to get you on your way or would you like some actual assistance in doing it in Fusion? ;)

At the moment, I think I'm ok. If I hit a snag, I'll be sure to stick my head in the forums.

Thanks for your help!
