DVR15 Fusion no lights visible, no camera view

PostMon Jan 14, 2019 12:46 am

Hi @ all,

last days I followed some tutorials for animated 3D text in Fusion tab in DVR15. Now I have a spinning 3D text I want to accentuate with lights. I can add lights and cameras to the merge3d (only sceneinputs available) between text3d and renderer3d. But whatever I do I get no cameraview and all lights seem off in preview and rendered video too, although they are not disabled and not bypassed. My graphics card is an GRX1050TI and Rendering uses CUDA. I'd appreciate very much, if anyone had an idea that solves my problem.

Okey guys, I found the solution by myself:

1) light nodes were enabled, but lighting has to be enabled in the renderer3d node too
2) as a newbee I still have to learn moving around in 3d environment, if the camera is right positionend the camera view works fine. In my case positioning with openGL renderer is impossible. The software renderer is much faster so I can see what I'm doing.

Have you turned on 'use lighting' in the Renderer 3D?
Without seeing your actual node setup it's really difficult to tell what might be wrong.
I am not sure what you mean by 'no camera view' for instance.

Please elaborate a little so we can help you better.
