Nodes missing

I've got quite a newbie problem. I can see the fusion animation that I created inside a Fusion Clip, but when I open the clip the nodes are not there. Instead, all of the animation seems to be "inside" the MediaIn1 node. I'm wondering what happened? ;) Did I render something accidentally and saved it as a clip without nodes, is that even possible? Using the latest software version, not Studio.

When you say you created a Fusion clip, what exactly do you mean? Did you right click on some footage you have on the timeline and choose "New Fusion Clip"? Did you drag a Fusion Composition from the Generators Toolbox? Did you have clips on the Timeline and just switched to the Fusion tab?

Thanks for your answer. I actually think I have not created a fusion clip by right clicking - this was my first time... :) I just switched to the Fusion tab initially, then just made the nodes on the regular clip, then saved the whole thing. It was there for quite a while, just disappeared later when I got a little more familiar with Fusion, and created multiple clips. It got generated to be a Fusion Clip later - probably, or auto generated. No idea. :(

A Fusion composition is associated with a single clip. When you create multiple clips on the timeline, the fusion comp is created for the clip that your playhead is over. If you create a fusion comp for a clip, then you split the clip, the comp will still exist for both parts of the split. If you split a clip then create a fusion comp, the comp will only apply to the clip the Playhead was over.

Thanks for the answer, well, yes, it looks like I lost the nodes, they must be hidden somewhere I can not reach, because I checked all clips on the timeline and they are not present in any of them, only in the "in" node of this particular clip, but the individual nodes are hidden. I guess I will have to recreate the animation now that I have some experience.
