Cryptomatte-->Node_Names

PostMon Apr 15, 2019 5:45 pm

For some reason I can't get the Cryptomatte working when using Node_Names.
Materials and Layers work.

It's kinda funky wit the CryptoLayer Selection.

Are you usually using the CryptoLayer Selection, or do you manually pull the the right channels into the RGB slots?

Or do you usually do both?

No matter what I do... the node name just doesn't work.
Any idea why?

ok.. I figured out the problem--> special characters.

If your objects contain in the naming any weird special characters, %()_-* or what ever.. it broke the Cryptomatte.

Hope that helps!
cheers
