PostThu Jun 06, 2019 4:34 am

Thank you everyone who has participated in the public beta program for DaVinci Resolve 16 and Fusion 16. The feedback and automatic reports have greatly assisted.

Today we are pleased to announce that DaVinci Resolve 16 Studio beta 4 and Fusion 16 Studio beta 4 are now available as no charge updates for existing users on our support web site. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/suppor ... and-fusion

We strongly encourage all beta users to update to this beta version as we move closer to GM we would like your feedback on beta 4.

Issues addressed in Fusion Standalone 16.0b4
Improved performance when selecting a paint tool with multiple strokes
Addressed an issue where using roto assist in the polygon tool would cause a crash
Addressed an issue where on-screen polygon viewer controls would sometimes have the transform for the incorrect time applied, causing an offset from the area of effect
Addressed an issue with the handling of some fonts for Fusion text tools on macOS systems
Addressed an issue where shift-dragging a crosshair on a path to adjust the time displacement did not work correctly
Addressed an issue where viewers would briefly show incorrect frames when viewing upstream of a particle system
Addressed an issue where both viewers would incorrectly be affected when adjusting certain settings, and fail to correctly update their header controls
Addressed an issue where the managed view LUT would incorrectly be available
Addressed an issue where rendering H.264 clips could cause a crash
Addressed an issue in scripting where globals, such as control handle and modifer states, were not passed to button control script events
Addressed multiple issues with the combine strokes script in the paint tool
General performance and stability improvements
