Merge Note won't work

Hi

I am quit new to fusion, I tries to search for my problem vut could not find en answer. I am trying to design some simple motion graphics, but the merge notes won't work. I follow an youtube tutorial and can see all the individual nots work, but when I combine them, they won't work.
Oh and yes I connect the output and inputs the right way
I work on a 2015 15" MBP with max specs for then.
