DVIP kernel Positioner/Resize failed to run,error 2

Hey guys,

during render (Fusion 16 Studio standalone) I get the following errors:
"DVIP kernel Positioner failed to run, error 2"
"DVIP kernel Resize failed to run, error 2"

The exr's and the QT render just fine but the log shows these errors appearing every frame or odd frame or so.

Any ideas what Fusion is unhappy about ?

I see them pop up occasionally during comp work as well.

cheers,
enrico

That indicates that something in the GPU code failed. Fusion falls back to CPU rendering (on most tools) when that happens, though, so you likely won't notice any problems in the render. It is probably just slower than it should be. If you can pare down your comp to the minimum number of nodes that produce the error, you should zip it up and post it here as a bug report.

It's been a while since the last post in this thread, but I thought I'd say that I've been having this problem too, specifically:
DVIP kernel Resize failed to run, error 2

Don't suppose anyone's found a fix, or failing that the cause?

Windows 10
intel 8400
GTX 970

Edit: might be worth mentioning that I've been having issues with my GPU artifacting since a few weeks ago, so this might be some weird sort of hardware issue for me.
