Text+ and Followers

Hi,

I am in Resolve and I want to use some Text+ and a follower to achieve this effect:
A line of text shall appear smoothly character by character, but each new appearing character starts at a higher size, then shrinks down to the final size, i.e. kind of magnifying effect.

I know how to add a new follower in the Style Text area.
But then what to do next? I know I have to animate some stuff but I do not know how to target it and how to set properties.

Could someone help me through the steps to achieve my desired effect?

Check out Tony Gallardo's youtube tutorial for text effects.

Basically you would create a text+ node, then right click on the style and choose follower. Then go to modifier tab and select the first letter, animate the size. Then go to the timing tab and put a delay between the characters. That should do the magifier trick.

Yes, this is the part which confuses me most. You need to manually animate a parameter (and only for a few frames), which then - with "magic" - automatically follows along the characters.

There is no visual feedback on how the followers work along the inserted text. Etc...
Yes, it works somehow, but it is not intuitive.
