Separating clips in timeline

PostFri Apr 19, 2013 10:29 pm

I have imported an xml into my timeline and I am trying to figure out how to separate the raw clips from one another. For example, I want to use a shot for both a wide, and then later in the timeline, punch into the same clip as a close up. They are both linked to the original file though so whatever I do to one, happens to the other. How do I avoid this?

Set your grades to Local. This unliks the files You can also add a different grade version to any individual clip.

See "Using Versions to Manage Grades," pp. 750-761 in the v11 manual.
