I'm not familiar with error codes for Media Composer but have you inquired about this with Avid on their forums or support team?

I tried on the Avid community, but really?
No one from BM has any idea what could this be?

I got that error today for the first time, on a system that had previously been working fine. I got about 2 hours of work done when the error occurred. I'm on OS X 10.9.5, Media Composer 7.0.4. and Desktop Video 10.3.6. My setup is an UltraStudio Express feeding a Sony grading monitor. I send the output of the monitor to a Mini Recorder which is the input to ScopeBox. If I disconnected the Mini Recorder, Avid would launch, but I didn't have any external scopes. Since I rely on the RGB Parade and Histogram I packed up the Mini Recorder and went to my work office since I needed to keep working. No issues there (UltraStudio 4k, Media Composer 8.2.2. - all other hardware and driver versions are the same). Once I have some time I'll see if this works (like it did before), with Resolve. If Resolve runs fine that likely points to an Avid issue.

I just had a chance to test a idea, and I've gotten my home system working again. It looks like my Avid User settings got corrupted. After changing to the default User settings, I quit Media Composer and connected everything, launched ScopeBox and then Media Composer. No error at startup. Quit Media Composer again, replaced the user settings folder with a copy of the one from my work system, and again, no errors.

This probably won't be a help to anyone having the issue with fresh installs, but if, like me, you had a previously solid system go haywire, it might be something to look at.
