Mini Monitor Goes Black

I have the decklink mini monitor card, installed it a few weeks ago, PC. It often drops the signal going to my external monitor, will be black for about 5 seconds and then comes back. It's making my crazy.

Have you tried basics- checked cables/new cable, reseat card in slot/different slot, re-installed drivers/tried different (older version), tried different monitor/TV (it maybe monitor specific)?

I have reseated and made sure the connections were snug. Have not tried an older driver or monitor at this point because it seems to be happening primarily once I am busy in an edit. If I leave the timeline sitting there static (if I am away from the edit for example) it seems to stay on, it's once I am working and the picture it changing that the blacking out happens.
