BRAW with Avid MC 8.x not working. How to convert?

Linking is not possible in Avids Media Composer 8.x. When I import I hear sound but have only a green picture.
Has anybody managed to successfully work with BRAW in Avids Media Composer?

Is there a way to convert BRAW-files to DNxHR or any other format Avid reads?

you should not be expecting software from 2-3 years ago to work with a format that was recently released.

Resolve will always be able to do transcodes for you that Avid should be able to utilize.

I believe there is a plugin for Braw for the latest Avid, but again, i wouldn't expect it to work with an older version of Avid. At some point, you need to upgrade.
