BRAW in Avid 2018 - Error in multicam playback

PostTue Nov 12, 2019 2:43 pm

Hi everyone. First post here.

I've just installed the latest BRAW plugin for Avid and I stumbled upon an error when trying to playback a Multicam Clip of our two BM cameras (one Pocket 4K and one Pocket 6K). I am currently on Avid MC 2018.11 on Windows 10 and using BlackMagic RAW 1.5.2. Playback of a single clip/stream works fine, until I hit the multicam mode key "CTRL+M", then the error appear. PC/Hardware is pretty beefed up and should not be the issue.

Exception: SFPlayConsumer::Execute TIMEOUT

Right now I get an error when trying to transcode my footage (which I read is not implemented yet in the plugin), so it is not an option.

Anybody ran into this? Is this a known bug? Any workaround?

Cheers!
