AAF export, with embedded media

PostThu Dec 19, 2019 2:47 pm

I've spent the last week trying to do something that ought to be simple: take my edited timeline and export an AAF with embedded (audio) media (24 bit depth), so that my sound mixer can pick up the project.

When I highlight the timeline and go to File>export AAF, XML, it asks for a folder to land the file in, but then doesn't process anything. When I go to Renders and use the Avid AAF tool, the resulting output is useless, and it's linked to the wrong files. I've also tried exporting to Premiere using an XML, no joy.

All I want for Christmas is my audio files packed in a gift box with a usable AAF. What do you say, Blackmagic?
