Decklink Extreme 3D Playback Issue in Premiere

PostThu Sep 20, 2012 11:04 pm

When I press stop in Premiere, the playhead keeps playing for 10-15 frames. When I disable the Blackmagic playback, it stops this behavior. Is there a fix for this coming? It's annoying editing with this bug, as I have to scrub manually to find a cut point.

I'm running the latest version of Premiere CS6. This behavior happens in 6.0.1 and 6.0.2.

I would like to add a weird behavior, also in P6. The Decklink is attached to an ATEM switcher, properly genlocked via Tri.Sync, and with all the settings properly done in the soft.

The computer is a PhenomII 8core, 16 GB RAM DDR3 Corsair, a disk array 4TB SATA III, marking above 150 MBPS in BMD disk test, Mobo is a M5a97PRO EVO, all disk WD, -radeon 6670 2 GB, core and system temperature are ok, PSU is Cooler Master 700

We are using the DL for playback on a live TV production (whenever we're not live, the DL edits the inserts for the show) When we play back the clips, properly rendered in BMD HD MJPG, it often would stop at a random position and pull the cursor back a few seconds or to the previous clip, so we cannot find quickly the proper point for playing back again. The clips are rarely over 5 min. and we had no problems with other systems with similar configs in similar facilities.

Are there playback bugs yet to resolve in the drivers for Adobe CS6? We are airing live as I write this down and let me tell you this is a very stressing situation. Any help will be kindly appreciated.
